GInput 私隱政策

GInput 是 JetPiggy 開發的 Android 輸入法。這份政策說明 GInput 會處理甚麼資料、為甚麼，以及你可以怎樣控制。簡單來說：你打的內容永遠不會離開你的手機。
你打的內容
GInput 不會收集、儲存到伺服器或傳送你打的任何內容，包括文字、密碼、剪貼簿內容、你選過的候選字，以及你正在哪個 App 打字。所有打字處理都在手機上完成。
啟用輸入法時，Android 會提示「這個輸入法可能會收集你輸入的所有文字」。這是系統對所有輸入法的標準提示；GInput 不會這樣做。
只留在手機上的資料
- 記憶字：你常選的字和次數，用來把它們排在前面。
- 最近使用的 Emoji。
這些資料只存在你的手機上，不會傳送出去，也不會隨 Android 備份。在密碼欄位，以及要求不學習的欄位（例如瀏覽器的無痕模式），GInput 不會記錄。你可以在「設定 → 輸入方案 → 清除全部記憶」刪除記憶字；解除安裝 GInput 會刪除全部資料。
設定和備份
GInput 的設定（例如輸入方案、鍵盤高度）會隨 Android 備份，存到你自己的 Google 帳戶（如果你開啟了備份）。我們看不到這些備份。
當機回報（預設開啟）
GInput 當機或停止回應時，會把技術資料傳送到 Sentry（Functional Software, Inc.），存放在歐盟的資料中心，用來找出和修正問題。內容包括：
- 當機的類型和程式的堆疊（出錯的程式位置）
- GInput 的版本
- 手機型號、Android 版本，以及記憶體、儲存空間等裝置狀態
當機回報不包括你打的內容。GInput 在傳送前會刪去錯誤訊息、日誌和使用者識別碼，而且設定 Sentry 不儲存你的 IP 地址。Sentry 最多保留這些資料 90 日。你可以在「設定 → 私隱 → 當機回報」關閉。
使用統計（預設關閉）
只有在你同意後，GInput 才會傳送使用統計。首次設定時會問你，之後可以在「設定 → 私隱 → 使用統計」更改。開啟後，GInput 每日最多一次，把前一日的報告傳送到我們在 Cloudflare 上的伺服器（ginput-stats.jetpiggy.com）。報告只有：
- 日期、GInput 和 Android 的版本
- 主要設定，例如啟用了哪些輸入方案、空白鍵模式、鍵盤高度
- 當日各功能的使用次數，例如選了多少次中文候選字、用了多少次英文建議或 Emoji
報告不包括你打的內容，也沒有任何識別碼。伺服器只把報告加進每日的合計數字，不保存個別報告，也不記錄 IP 地址。在密碼欄位和要求不學習的欄位，GInput 不會計算。你關閉使用統計後，手機上未送出的次數會即時刪除。
檢查新版本
如果 GInput 不是從 Google Play 安裝，打開 GInput 設定時，GInput 會讀取 ginput.jetpiggy.com 上的版本資料，有新版本就提示你。這個請求不帶任何個人資料；網站由 GitHub Pages 寄存，GitHub 可能會記錄 IP 地址，詳情見 GitHub 私隱聲明。從 Google Play 安裝的 GInput 由 Google Play 負責更新。
權限
GInput 只要求「網絡存取」權限，用於當機回報、使用統計和檢查新版本。
翻譯
GInput 現時沒有翻譯功能。日後加入時，只有你主動按「翻譯」的那段文字才會送出，而且我們會先更新這份政策。
兒童
GInput 並非專為兒童設計。GInput 不會收集可以識別任何人的資料，包括兒童的資料。
你的權利
由於我們不收集可以識別你的資料，我們通常無法找出屬於你的資料。如果你對私隱有任何疑問或要求，歡迎聯絡我們。
政策更新
如果這份政策有改動，我們會更新這一頁和上面的生效日期；重大改動會在 GInput 的更新說明提及。

GInput Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 October 2026
GInput is an Android keyboard made by JetPiggy. This policy explains what data GInput handles, why, and how you can control it. In short: what you type never leaves your phone.
What you type
GInput never collects, stores on a server or sends anything you type, including text, passwords, clipboard contents, the candidates you pick, and which app you are typing in. All typing is processed on your phone.
When you enable a keyboard, Android warns that it “may be able to collect all the text you type”. Android shows this warning for every keyboard; GInput does not do this.
Data that stays on your phone
- Remembered characters: characters you often pick and how often, so they can come first.
- Recently used emoji.
This data stays on your phone. It is never sent anywhere and is not included in Android backups. GInput records nothing in password fields or in fields that ask not to learn, such as a browser’s incognito mode. You can delete remembered characters in Settings → Chinese input → Clear remembered characters; uninstalling GInput deletes everything.
Settings and backup
GInput’s settings, such as your input schemes and keyboard height, are included in Android backup and stored in your own Google account if you have backup turned on. We cannot see these backups.
Crash reports (on by default)
When GInput crashes or stops responding, it sends technical details to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), stored in its European Union data centre, so we can find and fix the problem. A crash report contains:
- the type of crash and the stack trace (where in the code it happened)
- the GInput version
- the phone model, Android version, and device state such as memory and storage
Crash reports never include what you type. Before sending, GInput removes error messages, logs and user identifiers, and Sentry is set not to store your IP address. Sentry keeps this data for at most 90 days. You can turn crash reports off in Settings → Privacy → Crash reports.
Usage statistics (off by default)
GInput sends usage statistics only if you agree. It asks during setup, and you can change your choice in Settings → Privacy → Usage statistics. When turned on, GInput sends at most one report a day, about the previous day, to our server on Cloudflare (ginput-stats.jetpiggy.com). A report contains only:
- the date and the GInput and Android versions
- your main settings, such as which input schemes are on, the space bar mode and the keyboard height
- how many times each feature was used that day, such as how many Chinese candidates you picked or how many English suggestions or emoji you used
Reports never include what you type and contain no identifiers. The server only adds each report to daily totals; it does not keep individual reports or record IP addresses. Nothing is counted in password fields or fields that ask not to learn. When you turn usage statistics off, any counts on your phone that have not been sent are deleted immediately.
Checking for updates
If GInput was not installed from Google Play, opening GInput settings checks the version information on ginput.jetpiggy.com and tells you when a new version is available. The request contains no personal data. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may log IP addresses; see the GitHub General Privacy Statement. Copies installed from Google Play are updated by Google Play.
Permissions
GInput asks only for network access, used for crash reports, usage statistics and checking for updates.
Translation
GInput does not offer translation yet. If it is added, only the text you choose to translate by tapping “Translate” will be sent, and we will update this policy first.
Children
GInput is not designed specifically for children. GInput does not collect data that identifies anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect data that identifies you, we usually cannot find any data that belongs to you. If you have any privacy questions or requests, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above, and mention important changes in GInput’s release notes.
